I absolutely adore the name Lilah (spelled only this way). It reminds me of the character on the tv show Angel named Lilah.

Very pretty. I pronounce it LYE-la. However, I pronounce Lila as LEE-la.

I would pronounce it as Lie-la in English and as Lee-la in Swedish.I think Lilah is beautiful name. I don't like names ending with a mute H, unless it is a biblical name, so I would prefer Lila. But then again, maybe you see it as a short form of Delilah?"You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."

I didn't actually associate the name with Delilah until my mother pointed it out, but now it's the only think I associate it with. I used to love the name Delilah, so this works out well.I prefer H's on the ends of names like Lilah and Norah because it "finishes" the name for me. Plus, H is one of my favourite letters.

I don't like it at all, and I'd say LYE-lah. LEE-lah is Lela or Leela for me. Additionally, I say Leila as LAY-lah and Laila as lah-EE-lah. And I like all those names MUCH more than Lilah.Lilah would be improved slightly if it didn't have that stupidly superfluous H. (I am, as you may know, rather anti-H.)Array

LOL, let's never have children together. H is one of my favourite letters, along with A and R. ^ ^

I love the name Lila, but only this spelling. I would pronounce it with a long "i" sound.

I think it's fairly cute. Though, that may be a problem for some people- that it's too "cute". When I read it, I tend to pronounce it Lie-luh. *~Mama to one beautiful daughter and another on the way!~*
