[Opinions] Pronouncing Liv
Honestly, does it sound that bad pronounced as leev? Or is the pron. Lihv so much better? Regardless of the 'correct' way or not?

"LEEV" just sounds like "leave right now, will you!" PLUS it's wrong.
I know you know it, but it's just something that can't be denied. If leev was the right way to pronounce the word liv in English, then it'd be OK, but you'd always pronounce an English word liv like "lihv" or how you want to describe the pr.
I like both *sounds*, the leev and the liv sound. But leev sounds less like the name of a pretty girl than just a word (Liv does too, of course, but it's a positive word...) and if it was a name, I'd think of it as male instantly. Leev sounds so male, imo!
I'm for lihv.

Not at all.
I love it pronounced as 'liv', even though I know it should be pronounced 'leev'. I feel slightly guilty about that!

I really prefer it as "liv" (lihv) because it's more familiar to me that way thanks to Liv Tyler. I also tend to look at Liv as a nn, especially for Olivia, Livia, and Lavinia. The liv pronunciation is more intuitive because of this.
LEEV is not attractive to me. It's a little forlorn, actually. I know I'd rather have a name that sounds like "live" than like "leave." The latter sounds sort of negative and sad.

I would pronounce Liv like leev. That's the correct pronounciation and the only one I've ever heard. However, I do admit that it does sound better pronounced like lihv in English. Still, I wouldn't change the pronunciation just because the general opinion is that lihv sound better.
I pronounce it like Lihv.
I prefer "lihv." "Leev" reminds me of the word "leave."
I love it pronounced "Leev"
"Lihv" i don't like so much, to me it's just a nickname to Olivia or the like, not a name on its own.

I like it as a nickname for Olivia / Livia / Olive, so LIHV makes more sense to me. As the Scandinavian name though, LEEV is fine. It's nice, but not really my style. When I say it aloud I think of the word "leave," which makes it sound a bit weird to me. But, other than that, I have no problem with it.
I like Lihv
I thinks it's better when pronounced like the verb live. It just sounds off when it's said like the verb leave.
I can't force myself to say Leev at all. I like LIHV way better.
