I really like Afanen! I love the meaning of it.
In Welsh the stress is always on the second syllable. So it's pronounced roughly a-VAHN-en. I've never heard it said though, so I can't claim I'm right, I guess.

My first instict was to put the stress on the first syllable, so I'm glad you've cleared that up for me once and for all. :-)
