[Opinions] Re: Devereux
Hang on. Should it not be pronounced duh-ver-UH? But then again, Devereux isn't a proper French name, so I don't think the rules of French pronunciation apply. I think the French would be D'Evreux, which is pronounced duh-VRUH. (But I'm not a native French speaker (I only learn it in school), so don't take my word for it!)Anyway, I don't really like the name. It sounds too much like a surname for my tastes, and if it's not proper French, why does it have this French spelling? In my opinion, it's illogical. But anyway, there are worse names out there. Devereux could work as a first name.
