Sam and I got married after 3 years of dating. we were 23, [now 24] and couldn't wait any longer. It wasn't the typical proposal... It was on a ferry boat, without a ring, but I didn't care... The wedding was very classic, all gold, diamond rings, and a big poufy princess dress :). We live together in a small, 2 bedroom house. Cozy, but it has enough room. I my heratige is German, but I'm a first-generation American. Sam is just the typical mix, his family has been around here a while... He still doesn't get his middle name, he says his mother threw it together whaen she couldn't think of anything last-minute. Whatever, i don't think that's the case. Sam owns a restaraunt, and I'm a photographer, and I work at a childrens' hair salon Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We're very happy indeed.

There was an instant connection and we got married this June in Hawaii so that his family could be there and we honeymooned there to as a vacation on our own private island. I love his name because it means "ocean" or "water" in Hawaiian and he loves the water, being a marine biologist and all. We both love it and like to go surfing when we are in Hawaii and wakeboard when we are living here at home in Vancouver, Canada.

Amos comes from a farming family. he has 6 bros and sis. we operate a small farm, right now we have just small animals, some chickens and goats, and grow some soybeans and corn.
our wedding was at my uncles farm at the peak of summer. my five cousins were my maids of honor. i designed and made my wedding dress. We played softball instead of dancing, we aren't the dancin type.

German born Kai Valerius is the son of Tobias Valerius and Eithne Brogan. Tobias is a well-traveled man who met Eithne on one of his trips to Northern Ireland and brought her back with him to Germany. As most love stories go, they fell-in-love, got married, and had 2.5 children..well, not quite. They had two children and a cat. Youngest of which was named Kai Cadogan: Kai for his German background, Cadogan for his Irish. When he was 21 he went with his mother to Northern Ireland for a visit. There he met Sarla and stayed to be with her even when Eithne had returned to Germany. The two were married in a small church outside Belfast after a short summer together and are now planning a family together in Ireland.
Talk about short, sweet, and to-the-point!

Elijah Isaac Hill and Lydia Alexandra Beres were married June 9th. They had a beautiful fairytale wedding complete with limosine, four-story wedding cake, and lots of expensive clothing. Lydia and Eli rented a townhouse for themselves in the city, where they both work. Lydia works as a secretary for an office company and Eli works as a landscaper.
Elijah 'Eli' Isaac Hill is a kind-hearted man who loves sports and being outside. He is tall and muscled. He makes a modest amount of money, but loves what he does. Lydia is the woman he's been looking for all his life and the two will have a long, happy marriage. Eli came from a big family and hopes to have a large one himself.
(I like the names Elijah and Isaac. I also liked a lot of the other names in my group (#1))

I gave him my number, he called two days later and we had our first official date.
We got married two years after meeting, in a medium sized wedding. We now live in our own house in Vermont. It was difficult at first because both of our families are back in California but it's where we wanted to move and it gave us both better career opportunities. Leo is still works as an EMT and I was finally able to set up my antique shop.
Go on, be evil and get lazy.

Leo comes from the UK orignally, but his family moved here when his father, Richard, was hired by Stanford University to teach Roman Civilization and various Roman History courses. His father, in case you couldn't tell, was also allowed to name him. The richard the Lionheart reference is what threw me over a loop.
His mother, Louise, still teaches primary school in Stanford and from what I gather still loves it.
After completing his undergrad at Stanford, Leo went to Johns Hopkins to complete his doctorate, after which he chose a position at a hospital in Seattle and has remained there since.
We met two years ago, and while it wasn't love at first sight (more of a mutual understanding) after spending more time with one another we decided it was time to take the plunge. Now two years later, we'd essentially eloped and have been quite happily married since September.

Rufus Ferguson and I met at the most typical place ever: a singles' bar. My best friend, Marnie, dragged me off to a singles' night; his best friend, Dave, did the same to him. We met and started talking while they went off and had a good time--and we ended up hitting it off!
A week later, we went on what Rufus called a "proper date" (he's a Brit and the way he puts phrases and sentences together is so cute!) to a nice little restaurant near my house. Things went very well, and we caught an impromptu movie afterwards, since neither of us wanted to go home yet after the meal.
A year later, he asked me to marry him--while we were walking one night, he engineered our "random little walk" so we were standing in front of that darned bar! I said yes, of course.
We were married that November--I always liked the idea of a fall wedding, and my sister loves those wedding superstitions. She said that if you marry in November, you'll have good fortune. Neither Rufus nor I wanted an overly fancy wedding, so we just had a little church ceremony. Just when I packed to go back to the Netherlands and was waiting for a taxi, he came running up to me and asked me my e-mail address. By the time I got home I had three mails already. I wrote him back and after two months he decided to come to the Netherlands to meet me again. We had a great time and we decided to get married next year. So we married on 4th of april in Hawaii, and now we both live there.

Well it is official, I, Zinnia Trinity Marris, am now Mrs Leonard! Andy and I were married on September 23rd, and the day was perfect.
As neither Andy or myself are religious we married in his parents backyard. They have an absolutely stunning rose garden which was decorated for the occasion. The reception was held in their ball room (did I mention the Leonard's are a very well off family?...)
Being a very proper English family, Estelle (Andy's mom) instead I wear white and, although I had my eye on a beautiful baby blue gown, I caved and had the same design made in white.
Andy and I are off to England for the honeymoon. He wants to show me where he grew up, and to meet a lot of his relatives who didn't make it over for the wedding.

Leo and I met by accident perusing the aisles of the used book store one day. He is 6'3" and he is, by his own description, "Tall, dark and handsome." He works as a comptuter tech guy, a systems analyst for a large brokerage firm. (In real life my hubby is feeding me this, so I have no idea what that means). After a wirlwind relationship we were married and now happily reside in downtown Boston.
Your eyes, your smile, made my little life worthwhile. The sky was a lot more blue when I was on top of you.

I met Caspian at a school basketball game in my senior year of highschool where my best friend introduced him. I was at once taken aback by his unusual name which was from one of my favorite series of books 'The Chronicles of Narnia' by C.S. Lewis. Even more striking was his appearance, when I had read 'Prince Caspian' I had pictured a faily tall young man with dark brown hair, blue eyes and a great smile, and the young man who stood in front of him was the very image of the beloved Prince of Narnia. It was almost like I knew what his name was before I even heard it! His name just fits him perfectly! We talked a lot that night after the game and it ended in his asking me to go to lunch with him that weekend. That lunch led to a movie, and that led to bowling and pizza, and that led to dinner with my parents. Each time I saw him it was as if we were old friends, we laughed and talked like we'd always known eachother, I felt very comfortable around him, I felt very comfortable introducing him to my parents. He was so kind, and funny, and friendly, and he was so cute! :)
One Saturday we had dinner with his family and his mom told me about his name, she had met his father in a bookstore where she was working and he was looking for the book 'Prince Caspian' and when she found it for him as he was checking out he asked her to go to dinner with him and she agreed. When they got married the most natular thing to name their first son was Caspian so they did! And his mom loved it. I fit in with his family so easily, they were so warm and loving and friendly, it was no wonder their son had turned out so well!

Jude and I were married on May 17th at the church that I grew up in. We had a lovely wedding ceremony and reception with all of our family and friends there. It was quite the event, and I was absolutely on cloud nine; it was everything I had ever dreamed my wedding day would be. The church was decorated lovely with flowers and candles everywhere. We wanted it to be the perfect evening, and there is no doubt that it was!
Jude grew up in a small town in Oklahoma, and we ended up going to the same college in California (that's where we met). He has an older brother and a younger sister; his family is wonderful. Jude is now a news reporter at a local television station and he occasionally fills in as anchor. He has such a great personality and is a wonderful and caring man.
I personally love his name; Jude has been one of my favorites for a boy for a long time. I'd always dreamed of having a son named Jude; I guess it would take some convincing to name our son by the same name. We'll see what happens. Caleb is great as well, and his name has such a classic feel to it. I love it!
