I prefer it spelled Penina/Pnina but I think it's too "ethnic/unusual" for general adoption and given its spelling (unless the unvocalised Pnina is used, which seems certainly too unusual) has teasing potential.
It seems to work best with other Hebrew names - Shani is an unusual one, the modern Hebrew answer to "Scarlett".
