Message: "Holiday" - Behind the Name

My Sim had a baby girl and I named her Holiday. I hadn't planned on naming her that, it was just a whim, and it sounded great with her last name, Holbrook. Holiday as a name is now starting to grow on me. I think it's still in the guilty pleasure category, but I think it has a great sound.

Aside from the obvious association with vacation, what do you think?

My Niece is named Holiday
Her parents couldn't decide to have a holiday or another baby in the end it was decided for them and they had both lol.

I don't like it. It doesn't even sound like a name.

Are you from England, because here in America when most people here "holiday" they think of Christmas or Easter.

Over in Ireland, we think of Christmas and Easter too. Makes no difference where you live. I love holidays, but it sounds completely strange as a name.
