Message: "Winslow" - Behind the Name

I was looking at some paintings by Winslow Homer today and it dawned on me how I've never taken the time to consider the name Winslow before. I think it's workable. Considering that Homer has had a bit of a revival lately, I don't see why Winslow couldn't as well.

What do you think of Winslow?

Winslow...I've never given it any thought either, but I really like it. I think I'll add it to my PNL.
It's very sophisticated.

I like this name.

I knew a boy with this name a long time ago.
He would be late teens or early 20's now.

It does not make me think of a comic or character.

It sounds to me like a strong name - good for any age.

Just to put my 2 cents in, it makes me think of the mouse on the show "Cat-Dog" =) I do think it's workable though

Not that this is a bad thing, but the first thing that came to mind when I saw 'Winslow' was the Winslow family from 'Family Matters'.

It makes me think of the comic... I can't really take it seriously- I think it's because of the -ow. Winston, for instance, seems more likely to have a revival than Winslow IMO.

I don't know what comic you're referring to. Winston makes me think of the character from Ghostbusters.

This is the comic. I guess it's not actually called Winslow, that's just the character.
