Help[Opinions] Kamen
I'm not sure about the spelling, it could have been Caemon or some other variant. Heard a mother calling a little boy (about 3) with this name today at the store. I didn't like it. At first, it sounded like she was saying Cave Man.

My mind must be in the gutter today because the first thing I thought of was "came in...," as in the way the child was conceived LOL!

LOL. A caiman is a reptile. That's like naming a kid crocodile or alligator. I heard the name the other name the other day, too. It was spelled Caemon, I think.

Caemon has a user-submitted entry that says it's feminine, to it was probably Kamen... although to me it just souds like the word caiman.

Kamen is the Croatian word for 'rock', so I'd have to say a big NO! Hopefully it had some other spelling.
ETA: What do you know it's in the database! Still I've never seen it in real life and it's just bizarre.
