[Opinions] Emma?
I know that a lot of people think that this name is very popular, and it probably is, but I've lived in three towns and only ever met one Emma. I love this name for its simplicity. What are your opinions? What middle name would you use? TIA! :)

but my god it's so beautiful when the boy smiles
wanna hold him, maybe i'll just sing about it

my nieces name is Emma Elizabethshe turned two this past September and her age bracket is full of Emma's. I do love the name though and it suits her so well.

I really dislike this name. It just looks seems sort of nondescript and boring. The double m also throws me off, for some reason. If one must use this name, I much prefer Emmaline or something similar.

Emma is a name I never thought I would like until recently, but it's perfect simplicity and charm makes it a beautiful choice. I have moved 15 times, within two countries and six states, and have only met one Emma it surprises me it is not used more often; and of course I love the Jane Austen character!

I used to love the name Emma, but after I realized how popular it was getting, I changed my mind. I also have a bad association with an Emma, so that's probably what did it. I do have good associations with people named Emma too. So I guess that one person named Emma and the popularity ruined it for me. It's still nice though, but I much prefer Emily (even though Emily is really popular).

Emma Lenore
Emma Serenity

I like it, but the fact that you've only met one does not change the fact that it is the 2nd most popular baby name in the U.S. Most Emmas are in kindergarden, or are even younger, and I'm guessing you don't have much contact with those children.Middle names:
Brooke
Claire
Charlotte
Christine
Caroline
Grace
Gabrielle
Hope
Isabel
Ivy
Iris
Juliet
Jasmine
Kate
Katherine, et. al.
Lily
Nicole
Noelle
Olivia
Rachel
Raquel
Rose
Sophie
Victoria

I love the name Emma... but in the town where I live.. I can think of at least 6 Emma's all varying in ages.. Emma is a name that is cute on a child and beautiful as she grows.. I guess it all depends on where you live and whether or not popularity bothers you!"Never make someone a priority, who only makes you an option."
