I really love the story and meaning behind these names for a boy and I think the fn and mn work well together. What's your opinion?

I'd prefer Luke Phoenix and something else Gryphon, but if it has to be Jude I would still switch the fn's since K and G are the same sound (sort of)...

Phoenix's all right though not my style, but Gryphon strikes me as silly and not a real name. But these days I tollerate just about anything as a mn.

Both combos flow well.

Gryphon was the old spelling of Griffin.
