Should I pronounce it (Vespasienne) veh-space-ee-ENN, vess-pahs-ee-ENN, or vay-space-ee-ENN? Anyone know the correct way? TIA!

I'd pronounce it ves-pahs-YEN, so the second one is closest.

The second one - vess-pahs-ee-ENN - and I'm pretty sure that is the correct one if the name is French (which by the look of it, I think it is)

French feminine form of Vespasian? I'd pronounce it the second way... ves-pah-see-EN.

I didn't notice this when it happened... I realized I'd meant to say the second and not the first, then elaborate, and when I edited it I obviously just posted under it instead. Weeeee.

To me it looks like veh-space-ee-ENN, and that's the one that I like the best personally.
