It's a different name. It means "little rough one", but I think that it works.
Garbhán Ruaidhrí sounds nice, although Ruaidhrí means "red king" and in Gaelic that would imply that he has red hair. For example:
Cailean fionn/bán= "fair Colin"
Máire rua= "red Mary"
Ailean donn= "brown Allen"
Deirdre dhubh= "black Deirdre"
Still, I like the combination.
