Makes me think of violent/violated, etc. I do like it as a nickname for Viola or Violet though.

Isn't it pronounced VEE-o-leska?Too many syllables for my taste, but it's cute.

Actually, if anything, Violet sounds MORE like those words to me than this...

I guessI guess Violet and Viola are word names to me that only make me think of the thing, so I never think of them that way. Violeska is a new name to me so I don't have a frame of reference for it. I think I just prefer it as a nickname.
