[Opinions] WDYTO Perry...

Oddly enough I was thinking about this the other days. I've met/known of at least 4 girls named Peri/Perri (etc.) in recent years, and perhaps as many or less boys. The only Perrys (Perries?) I know of are actors, I believe. I don't care for it for a boy at all, but it's kind of cute for a girl. But as a nurse, the word "peri" to me means the peritoneal area which is the pelvic floor/area near the genitals, to be exact. :b So that would be a big reason I could never use it. lol

Well, a few months ago I started liking this name for a girl, so I did a bit of research and this is what I found...
Peri - Hebrew, "outcome, result"
Greek mythology "nymph of mountains and caves" or "mountain dweller"
Persian fable "fallen angel" or "elf"
English "wanderer"
The variants include:
Perry - "pear tree"?
Pera
Perah - Hebrew, "flower"
Perita
Perrine
Then there's also the words Periwinkle and Peridot.
Hence I would spell it Peri (or Perri) on a girl instead of Perry.
