I like Alaia (which I pronounce "uh-LAY-uh"), though I prefer Aglaia.
I don't think the name necessitates a nickname; nevertheless, I suppose I'd opt for Laia.
I love Alaia as a sister to Xanthe!
I dislike the flow of Alaia Opal Zipporah.
