I love seeing old names brought back the same way I love seeing an old brick building renovated. It warms my heart.
Yes, I can definitely see Elmira coming back. If Hazel, Josephine and Ada can find an audience, then why not Elmira too?

I confess I prefer Elvira to Elmira, except I use the Spanish pronunciation of Elvira to avoid the vampiress association. But Elmira has an air of mystery to it that I find very attractive too.
I'm a big fan of Myra ("MIE-ruh") as well.
