[Opinions] Aquila
I found out the other day that a friend of mine's full name is Paul Aquila. I just thought it was incredibly awesome, but I wondered how the name would hold up if it were put in the first name slot. Hmm...Have you ever run into Aquila before? In what context? What were/are your initial impressions on it?

It's a family name in my family, but I believe it is spelled Aquilla. It's very watery. I don't think I'd use it.

Hm. That's kind of cool, but I think it's mn only. If it was a fn I would expect it to be feminine for some reason... And there's the fact that it's a genus of eagles, and that's the first thing I think of when I see it.

I've never met an 'Aquila' before but I like the name - it makes me think of calm oceans and big blue whales!

Only in that movie Akila and the Bee. It reminds me too much of tequila.
