That's amazing (with th Mabels). I think that in Tasmania, they go for more traditional names, unlike the rest of Australia.

There is a definite Scottish flavour to the names. I'm actually not that keen on Mabel but I occasinally see it in BAs so I think it could become more popular.Overall (with the exception of Ellyette, Indiana and Roxy Lee) a nice bunch of names.

Yes, I wondered if it wasn't just me picking up on the Scottishness. I'm not big on Mabel either but I'm delighted to see it in place of another Kaylee or something. I can see it rising in popularity with certain crowds too.
