Is there any popularity charts for first names in Italy? I've tried searching but can't find anything, apart from the top 200 adults males in Florence, Italy, 1427, on BtN, which is slightly out of date!!

There's this Italian name site http://www.nomix.it/ which has charts for 2007 at the latest:

Not sure how reliable it is. Actually I'd be very much interested too in official in popularity charts!

Here is an Italian site reporting about the official Italian name hitparades of the years 2004 and 2006:

I was not able to locate the original data on the website of the Italian statistical institute, which is at:
http://www.istat.it/
so it's not clear whether there is more data available.
