[Opinions] French class
So I'm taking a French class, and I get out to pick out a French name for myself! My name is Melinda, so it doesn't translate, so I get to pick out a totally new one. The problem is, I can't decide because I love most French names. I'm debating on Camille (ka-MEE), or Clementine, but does anyone else have suggestions?

I love your suggestions, especially Clementine, personally I also love Fleur (Lily translated), Victoire, and Celeste. Have fun :D

I like the name Clarisse, but it always makes me think of Clarissssse from The Silence of the Lambs. :P
Wasn't her last name Starling?
So how about Clarisse-Estelle? ;)
(Just kidding)

I've been taking French for three years--going on four now--and we got to choose French names too. The first year I was Marie Tempeste (which I had begun to loathe by the end of the year), the second year I was Nadine (but in French it's na-DEEN, not nay-DEEN), and this past year I was Pascale. I LOVE the name Pascale. For this upcoming year I was considering Babette. I had considered Beatrice until my French teacher pointed out that it was BEAT and RICE put together.... But I see what you mean, it's difficult to decide because there are sooo many pretty French names. I hope these helped. :) Sorry for the rambling.
Well, there is Meline (sorry I can't make the accent mark on my computer), but I would take a name that is most similar to your own.
Well, I'm pretty sure my name doesn't translate, but I wouldn't pick anything similar to it anyway. This is your chance to pick a name that ISN'T your own. Pick a name you absolutely love, whether it's close to your real name or not.
