I really like the name, but I think at this time most people would associate it with Harry Potter. However, that isn't really a bad thing in this case, because Hermione is a good character. Even if someone thought you named a baby after Hermione Granger, they wouldn't think you named your daughter after someone stupid, evil, or annoying. And the upside of this is most people will know the pronunciation and spelling. (her-my-oh-nee)So I do think this name is usable.

I like the pronunciation of Hermine, but unless you live somewhere where it is at least somewhat common, people wouldn't know how to say it.
