Yes, it makes me think of Harry Potter (and Shakespeare too, by the way) but I think it's usable nonetheless.
I don't think it will get very common because it's not... uhm... "cute" or "girly" enough, IMO.
As for Hermine, I don't like that name at all. I do like Hermia, though.
