[Facts] Shi'ite/Sunni differences?
Can anybody tell me if Shi'ite Muslims and Sunni Muslims name their children differently?
Replies
Well not exactly different but Shia Muslims will avoid using names like
Yazid - the man who is responsible for Karbala massacre
Muawiya - the man who killed prophet's grandson Hassan
Abu Bakr - responsible for Sakifa + false khalifa
Umar - responsible for Sakifa + pen and paper incident + killed prophet's grandson Muhsin and daughter Fatima + false khalifa
Uthman - false khalifa
Aisha - well she was the biggest enemy of Islam
Hafsa - a characterless character that followed Aisha like a puppy, Surah Tahrim is a good reason not to use this name
