[Opinions] Destin...
Last night my family and I went out to dinner and there was a little boy at the table next to ours. He was the same age as Phoenix and his name was Destin Elijah. WDYT?? I think it is absolutely adorable!"Never make someone a priority, who only makes you an option."

There have been enough boys named Destin in the USA for it to make the SSA top 1000 every year list since 1994. It's possible that some parents think of it as a masculine form of Destiny. The resort town in Florida (which was named after an early settler, and so comes from a surname) is probably also a factor. Destin seems to fit in pretty well with modern names to me. Personally I'd rather have a name that began with "dest" than with "dust", which seems a rather unattractive word.

Destin means "Destiny" in French. I think it's weird and a bit trashy...

It makes me think of Destiny, which I cant stand. I love Elijah and they sound good together in a combo sense, but I just dont like Destiny and thats what I think of~~Kris~~

Meh, I don't really like it. It looks like a creative spelling of Dustin.

I love Elijah, but Destin is cute to.

I'm not real keen on Destin. For one, it immediately made me think of Desitin, the diaper rash cream. And then, of that touristy area (is it in Florida?) Hopefully it's not a place name (like a conception place!) Elijah isn't too bad, though.

Is ia a masculine form of Destiny? I don't like Destiny, and I don't really like Destin, as it seems like someone forgot to add the -ed at the end (destined), and I don't much care for "word names."Love Elijah, though.:)
