[Opinions] Re: Meadow
in reply to a message by Lily8
I love Meadow. Feminines names ending in an "o" sound are a particular favorite of mine. I know some consider it a "hippie" name, but to me it's timeless and has nothing but lovely associations. Then again, I love hippies so it all comes together in the end for me. :-)
Maddie could work for a nn, sure. Meaddie feels a little forced, though.
I don't know anyone named Meadow. When you say "pair" with it, are you talking about a sibling name, or a mn?
Meadow and Carys
Meadow and Sylvie
Meadow and Linnea (too botanical?)
Meadow and Linden (ditto)
Meadow and Glynis
Meadow and Eirlys (again, too botanical?*)
Meadow and Siobhan
Meadow and Audrey
Meadow and Virginia (too place-y?)
Meadow and Georgia (ditto)
Meadow and Blythe
Meadow and Tess
Meadow and Celeste
Meadow Carys
Meadow Jocelyn
Meadow Evelyn
Meadow Catriona
Meadow Eliza
Meadow Jennifer
Meadow Celeste
Meadow Freya
Meadow Justine
Meadow Callista
Meadow Lucy
Meadow Astraea
You like?
* Since Linnea, Linden and Eirlys aren't the obvious botanical names like Rose, Violet and Daisy I think it is still OK. But reasonable minds can differ on this.
