[Opinions] Averlee...
I once knew a girl named Averlee. Or Averile. Or something like that. Anyway, I remember saying hello Averlee (you know, like Avery but with an L), to which she promptly responded by sneering and putting her hand on her hip, saying, "My name is ah-vree-ELLE." Whatever the spelling, I can assure you that it was not anything that looked like that; I could have possibly gotten it from Avrielle. It was not that.To which I just sort of blinked. That is what I think of prn Ismene as iz-MEN-ee and Nimue as NIM-oo-ee. It defies logic. It's one thing to correct other people when they mistakenly misprn your name, but think about the flip side -- she's going to have to correct people who prn it correctly.Regardless of all that, I think the correct prn are just far prettier. iz-MEN-ee sounds like "is many" and NIM-oo-ee sort of sounds like "phoeey" or "bouy."

I don't see how it would "defy logic" to say them like that. Unlike Averlee, all of the components of those pronunciations are in the names. Ismene=Is men e= iz-MEN-ee. Nimue= Nim u e= NIM-oo-ee. It makes sense to me.
