Besides the fact it is close to 'santa' what do you think of it?

Is it pronounced SEEN-ta? That's my first instinct, and that only makes me think of cinta, which is Spanish for tape.
And if it's pronounced SIN-ta, then there's the obvious "sin" at the beginning, which is no good.
I dislike it either way, sorry.

I think it's pretty but it has a sort of vague, generic sounds that reminds me of a lot of things, like perhaps an ethnic group or a prescription drug or artificial sweetener. The sound is pleasant but it has a "familiar but not in the context of being a given name" feel.
(Wikipedia says the Sinti, which is where my ethnic group association came from, is also called/spelled Sinta or Sinte. I didn't know that it was a more literal reference than just an assocation. Huh.)

At least, it sounded like this. But he wasn't Indonesian, so it must be a coincidence.
It's a pretty name, I like the way it sounds. It has a sparkle to it. On the other hand, there is something too clean about; it's so crisp that it sounds like the name of a company, car model or product. I'm not sure how I feel about this one. Sorry, that wasn't very helpful at all, was it! :/

I think it's quite nice. I didn't even think of Santa! I don't like the fact that it means "chastity", though.
