[Opinions] Beatrix.
I should like it- it's just a letter away from the ugliest name in the world! (to me, that would be Beatrice). WDYT?

Beatrix to me is dowdy Dutch royalty. Not the best. But Beatrice has an elegant shimmer.

I love Beatrix. It's my second favorite female name.I love the sound (well, when pronounced "bee-uh-trix"), the look, the meaning, the fact that it has a long history behind it, that it has a lot of nickname options, the overall feel/vibe of it... It just has so much appeal and charm to me!ETA: I also love Beatrice.

It's okay. It's a little too edgy for me. I prefer Beatrice, which I think is very soft and sweet.

Love itI like Beatrice and Beatrix. Beatrix reminds me of the main character on Kill Bill. And despite not really liking that movie, she made the name sort of edgy, and if I may --made the name sort of "kick ass". Also lots of cute nn possibilities "Bea", "BeBe", "Trixie". Beatrice is more soft and elegant , and sweetly old-fashioned. I love it.

I agreethey both have two very different feelings. Beatrix is edgy and fun, and Beatrice is soft and elegant.

HehI used to feel that way--that Beatrix was the more badass sister of well-mannered Beatrice. But now Beatrice has evolved to become more like Beatrix in my mind. I envision her hiding a shiv under her petticoats.

I think they're both gorgeous names. I used to prefer Beatrix, but I now prefer Beatrice. I love them both, though.

I adore both Beatrix and Beatrice, and think both are devastatingly gorgeous. I prefer Beatrix over Beatrice though, simply because it's less popular and also it's easier to get the adorable Trixie as a nickname. Both are very different though, Beatrix is edgy, and my combo is more fun and exotic-Beatrix Annora Maud. Beatrice is soft and sweet, and my combo is the more elegant-Beatrice Mary Virginia.

I think it's better than Beatrice, which is pretty nasty.

It's almost growing on me due to the Beatrix Potter association, but because it's so close to the dowdy Beatrice I can't push forward on liking it.
