WDYT of Meike (pronounced MY-keh)? I discovered it last night, and I think it's very sweet. What kind of girl do you see when you hear the name? Any combo ideas? Thanks!

I think its cute, but there are other Dutch names I like better. Meike Faith comes to mind.

It's cute, but I would prefer it spelled Meika or Maika. Meike looks like it ought to be prn MAI-kee.

If you spell it Meika or Maika, the pronunciation changes to MY-kah in the languages this name originated from ;)

But the OP's American, so Meika/Maika would probably be prn just the same as Meike.

I don't like it at all. I'm German and Meike as well as Maike were extremely common here in the 80s so I went to school with many girls named Meike and Maike.
Maike actually seems more common than Maike, I've only met one Meike but several Maikes.

Actually I do think it is cute sounding. Although, I think others might pronounce it incorrectly.
