Hi,
I'm considering Amaia for my little girl who is due in 9 weeks.... What do you think of it? How would you pronounce it?
Lilac was thr front runner but I don't like the way some people pronounce it :(

I think it's lovely. I would pronounce it a-MY-ah.
I wouldn't use Lilac myself; the name has always sounded weird to me. People often pronounce it with a hard K sound at the end, and it doesn't sound pretty.
