I like Kazia, but Kazi looks so harsh, violent and abrupt.

It makes me think of the word "karzi" (not sure how to spell it) which is slang for toilet. So, not a good name.

I can only see Kazi as a nickname for Kazimir. The nickname Kazo is used in Croatia.

remindes me of kamikazi. I wouldn't have even thought of using it.
