[Opinions] Maike/Meike
by

Last week I met a
German
girl called
Maike
. I like the name but I prefer it spelt
Meike
.
What do you think of this name? Is it usable in Britain or would people have too much trouble pronouncing it?
Any combo ideas?
Thank you.

I think it's really pretty, but I'd spell it Maika/Meika if I were to use it in an Anglo country.

I think its a sweet name. I don't know how well it would be received in Britain since I've never lived there. Sorry I can't help you out on that front. Combo ideas

My ex-boyfriend's sister is named
Meike
(she's
German
too)
I think it's usable here in Britain, I really like it and prefer that spelling too :)

I just "discovered"
Meike
myself (I'm American, and had never heard the name before). I think it would be fine; she might have to correct people, but that's not the end of the world.
