I personally think it's a very cool name...cooler than Alexandra even, which is absolutely beautiful.

Purely as a GP, I like it. Alecto / Alekto has an energetic, happy sound to it. It almost boarders on comic-book super-hero sounding. But it's still nice.
Thanks for the mythological association. I would have thought it was male, perhaps a variant of Alessio, and missed out on all of the fury fun. :-)
