Most of the Anthonys I've met don't go by Tony or any nickname at all, so I definitely think that Tony is avoidable. AnthonySebastian has a nice flow, but I've never been a fan of the name Sebastian.
I'm not a fan of Anthony as everybody i've met with the name is either dull or a right y'know the type. However i think the nickname Tony is avoidable as alot of Anthony's go by Ant. AnthonySebastian is nice enough but i personally prefer SebastianAnthony
I like the name Anthony, but I have to agree with you, I hate the nn Tony. And yes, Tony is avoidable. Just call him Andy, or Anthony.AnthonySebastian sounds the tiniest bit pretentious because of the mn Sebastian.
I like Anthony and just like you I dislike Tony. I think it's avoidable if you call him something else or just correct people all the time. What about Anty or Ante as a nn? AnthonySebastian sounds good but I prefer SebastianAnthony.
I dislike Anthony because of a very bad association (I know some people get annoyed with that, but sometimes, it's unavoidable). I hate the NN Tony, but AnthonySebastian sounds nice enough.
I used to think it was pronounced with the th sounded, as in America, but in Britain it's pron. Antony. It's OK but I hate Tony too - reminds me of toe + knee. Anton is better imo.
I like Anthony but I much prefer the similar Anton. I know an Anthony who goes by 'Ant', so I think the nn Tony is avoidable (although I like it!)AnthonySebastian is nice :)
