Weird - the boy's sports teams in the local paper I was reading had several Kais, and I was thinking that it must be popular. I guess it'll be even more popular now. It's nmsaa, but I guess it could have been much worse!

How does it sound in Liverpool? I'm used to it as a German name (rhymes with Pie ...) but it could be very different in Scouse. If it's Kay like the letter of the alphabet, it's a no-no.
