[Opinions] Frannie / Muffy

I went to Cici's Pizza yesterday. It's a buffet of pizza basically. Anyway, the cashier's name was Frannie! She looked about 16-18. I kinda laughed to myself. I cannot picture that on anyone but an old lady. I also watched a show called House Hunters on HGTV and the realtors name was Muffy. Both are horrible imo. WDYT?

Frannie is fine. It copuld be a nickname for Frances or Francesca.

I hate Frannie and Muffy. Frannie is, as you said, an old-lady name. While some old lady names can be revived, I don't think all of them can.
Muffy is the epitome of 80's wealth; I half-expect a Muffy to get into a dress-ripping catfight on "Dynasty." Such an absurd name.

I actually find Frannie much nicer than Frances or Francine even though it's strictly a nick to me. Muffy, otoh, is horrendous.

My name 's Francesca and occasionally I get called Frannie. I think it's kind of cute as a nickname, though it would be silly as a full name.
I agree Muffy is terrible though, even as a nickname.

I'm a Franny / Frannie! Muffy is terrible. I have never met anyone named Muffy, not even a pet, and I'm kinda glad. It's ridiculous.

Frannie is drab. Fran is OK, funnily enough. And I know a Marjorie who goes by Muffy ... she was the eldest of four kids, and that was the best the little ones could do to say her name. But it's still dire!

Aw, Frannie / Franny is cute. "Franny and Zoey," n'est-ce pas?I can do without Muffy, true. Muffy was the ultimate preppy nn growing up. Can pink and green Espadrilles (sp?) be far behind? It has a very silly, spoiled, useless air about it. But Frannie is darling, as a nn.
