Heard a few new ones while I was away, thought I'd share:

My cousin just had her second baby, she has a a three year old named Jack, just Jack, no middle name and her new son is Will. Not William, Wilhelm, just Will. Once again, no middle name.
I like both names individually, but being the two most popular names in Australia at the moment for boys, it just seems like she's following trends.

Another of Alex's friends just became a big brother, to complete the sibset:

Damien (8)
Joshua (5)
and the new baby -
Kellan

Kellan seems a little out of place with the others to me, but I don't mind it.

And finally, I was watching TV this morning and an Australian politician was talking about his new baby. He already had 2 older children:
Xavier
Adelaide
and the new baby
Ignatius

Interesting choice, I quite like Adelaide, don't mind Xavier, but Ignatius? It sounds very intelligent to me, but it's long-ish and what can you shorten it to? Iggy?

We've talked about the politician here before. Ignatius is often shortened to Iggy, yes.

I know Jack is up there, but I didn't think that Will was second most popular name at the moment in Australia. Where did you get this from?

.....on the BTN homepage. Popular names, chose Australia, William is the second most popular.

If your politician follows rugby union, he'll have heard of Naas Botha (South African fly half in the 1980s) whose full name is Ignatius.

I really like "just Will" actually! :)

Someone else mentioned the politician's set of Adelaide, Xavier and Ignatius, and I must say I love them all!
