[Opinions] Ignatius....
My Bf and I love Ignatius and are definately set on it for the name of our first son (in a few years lol). We have even toyed around with middle names (Possibly Ignatius Edward Anton, Ignatius Maximilian Noble or Ignatius Barnaby Edward) but we are having big problems finding other names that are quite as 'exciting' and formal as Ignatius.
We have thought about:
Caspian
Isidore
Barnaby (he's not so keen)
Balthazar
and for girls we only really have
Arabella
Beatrice.
If you had to pick out the *perfect* siblings for Ignatius what would you choose outside our list, and what do you like out of our lists.
ALSO there was a guy on the early tv show with kids named Xavier, Adelaide and Ignatius Theodore.. which I thought was lovely.

Wow, glad you like so many!
I've always pronounced Fiammetta as "fee-uh-METT-uh". I'm sure the pronunciation in Italian is slightly different, but I think that's pretty accurate in English.

I love Ignatius! What a handsome name!
Both of your girls names are beautiful and suit Ignatius well. Isidore is lovely and fits well with Ignatius. When I was younger I wanted boy twins named Ignatius and Isidore.

There was a top international sportsman in South Africa about 25 years ago named Ignatius and called Naas (nahs). He has a brother Darius, which I think works well.
I can't take Balthazar seriously; there are so many little Isabel girls that a boy Iz or Izzie would seem odd; Caspian is very Sea and also very Narnia; what about Barnabas? It seems a more important name than Barnaby, though I like them both. Edward is brilliant with Ignatius as a mn; Anton could even work as an fn for a brother, and so could Theodore.
Beatrice wins over the frilly Arabella ... Georgina? Penelope? Aurelia?

As if you have found another living male to reproduce with that likes Ignatius!? Way to steal him from the rest of us, there was only that one! LOL, just kiddin', but lucky you!

Augustus / August
Basil
Crispin
Ebenezer
Atticus
Louis / Lewis
Oscar
Otto
Araminta
Eleonora
Augustina
Cornelia / Cordelia
Eliza
Millicent
Lavinia
Primrose
Odessa
Penelope
Rosalba
Thomasina
From your lists, I love Arabella (or even Arabella Beatrice as a combo!) and Caspian. sooo handsome!

Ignatius is mns, it's a bit too elaborate for my tastes (and i usually love elaborate names). But it's not bad, it's just ok for me. Out of your lists, i love Isidore (just wonderful!). Caspian is nice too.
