It's cool, nicknamey names like this have been appealing to me a lot lately. Exie Pomeline is really sprightly and fun.
I know you said you'd probably use it on its own, but I can't help but mention that I think it would be an awesome initial nickname. Xiomara Estelle or something nn XE Exie. Cool.
