I don't know what it is about an umlaut... :)
Actually this one is inspired by one of my favourite artists, the deep and powerful Käthe Kollwitz. I used to dislike her name until I found out that the pronunciation is "KAY-tuh" (as far as I can mangle it!) and not "Kath". I have also seen her name spelled Kaethe, but shucks do I love those two little dots.
Anyways, how annoying do you think it might be for a person named Käthe in an English-speaking culture? Would the mispronunciation of "Kath" be rampant?
