prn. mah-REE-suh. It's the name of a character in the play I'm writing. Full name Marisa Royce. What should be her nn? Everyone refers to her as this nn, and it can be a little bit of a stretch. These are my options:

Mitzi
Risa
Mara
Lisa

Mitzior Mimi, but I think Mitzi is more memorable. Mara seems a bit contrived as a nn.

Marisa is a nn on itself. It comes from María Luisa, at least in Spain
