Wil and Bekah met in high school, when Wil moved into the area. Both Wil and Bekah rode horses at a local barn. Wil owned a Quarter Horse, and Bekah leased a Thoroughbred. The two never dated--it was implicitly implied that they were just good friends. They went to different colleges, but after graduation both returned to the same general area. Wil now works for an architectural engineering company, and Bekah teaches first grade at the local elementary school. They were married last year and bought a small house within walking distance of the school where Bekah teaches.
