Gabriel and Lainey met in High School when they were forced to work together on an English project, Lainey really bothered Gabriel because she didn't seem to get freaked out easily. At first the two of them didn't really get along, Lainey was a bit of a flirt and Gabriel just didn't particularily care about much, but when they saw each other at university later that year something seemed to click with them and they decided to try going out. They got married, a rather small affair with only immediate family and close friends, a year before Gabriel graduated.
They are currently living in Penetanguishene, Ontario where Lainey writes for the local newspaper and Gabriel is a doctor.
