I came across a young woman named Zoewella today, prn. Zo - ella.

Have you ever heard of this name? It seems too much to me, and the spelling a little off.

I've seen a Zoelle once (in a French name book) and quite liked it... Zoewella... hmm. That W in there throws me right off. Almost looks like it should be "Zo-ee-wella" which is a real tongue-tripper.

I agree that the spelling seems off. I would never get that pronunciation from looking at it. The "ewe" is very awkward looking.

It looks very cheesy to me, more like the name of a cartoon character than a real person.

Strange name. Although I think the pronunciation is much prettier than the spelling makes you think.
