It's okay. I'm never sure if I like it or not, probably because with the two 'y's, it does look a bit trendy, although it's been used in the UK for quite a while - it's never been common, but the earliest one I found was born in 1854. I'd pronounce both versions as BRY-o-nee. I know one Bryony, and she's 30-ish.
