I like the sound of it, but I imagine that a girl named Xylia would be called ZIE-lee-a fairly often.

I've never heard the pronunciation KSILL-ee-yah, though I like the name when pronounced ZY-lee-yah. My favorite version of the name is Xylona. X is one of my favorite letters for names, since it's pretty rare to come across a person whose name begins with that letter.

That's how the greek x is pronounced.

I like it, but I wouldn't use it in real life

I dunno. Names that start with X that are used by English speakers always seem kind of like they're trying really hard to be offbeat to me. Like it's less about the name and more about the flashiness. That's probably not fair, but it's the impression I get. That aside, it looks nice but I think that pronunciation would be hard to do.

I think I like it - even if it is more out there than my usual taste. As long as is doesn't get shortened to Ksilly.

KsillyI actually think that's rather nifty. Just as a sweet little at-home-family-only name.

That's too bad. There are tons of names that I feel people don't like here, but I will always say that no matter how much you dislike a name, once you meet a person with that name it sort of becomes ok, because it fits them....
