1. MEER-ah all the way. MY-rah is Myra, while MIR-ah is Mirra (and not at all attractive) to me.
2. I like Mira better personally, but Meera is nice, too.
3. Since I pronunce Myra differently (and I think it's got an ugly sound), I like Mira better.
4. Red hair, bright eyes, loud but sweet, sometimes short on attention span but always willing to be helpful.
5. If she is, I don't think her name would be the reason. If kids do pick on her name, it'd be the kind of kids who make jokes of every name.

7. Well, since I'm of the opinion that almost any name works with any other, my input isn't too useful here. I think that Mira and Kindred or Mira and Nico would be nicest, though.
