[Opinions] Lottie?
What do you think of the NN Lottie for Charlotte? And what do you think of the combo Charlotte "Lottie" Juliet? How well does it fit to Vivienne Claire?
I have a thing for NNs right now but decided that it's a lot better to use the NN really just as a NN and give her/him a "proper" FN.
I think Charlotte Juliet has a nice vintage charm, but maybe Lottie as a NN ist to grandmaish?
And will Juliet cause a lot of Romeo-and-Juliet-jokes?What do you think of those alternatives:
Nell "Nellie" Juliet
Josephine "Josie" Juliet
Matilda "Tillie" JulietOr do you have better FN ideas with a nice NN?

I like Charlotte Juliet a lot. I think Lottie is a fine nn. I don't think of a Grandma but I do think of a little girl(I think a few books use this name on small child). I think you should use Charlotte as the proper name because Lottie Juliet doesn't flow as well to me. I don't like the other combos though. I don't mind Josephine nn Josie but I don't like it with Juliet (too much alliteration). I don't think there will be a lot of teasing.

I'm not a big fan of Lottie. I picture a Lottie as a 70 year-old, chain-smoking woman with a beehive, hunched over a slot machine at a casino. It's not a "fresh" name in my mind.Charlotte Juliet...honestly, I think Charlotte Julia sounds a lot better. The double -ette sounds in both names of the combo throw me off, and they sound a little TOO precious. Like a porcelain doll high on a shelf that no one is allowed to touch.I don't like any of the alternatives, either. Sorry!

I like both the names and I like them as a sib set also.I think I would prefer Julienne only because of the "ett-ett" sound of Charlotte Juliet.Still, nice names! and Lottie would be cute!!

Lottie is really cute. And while I like Charlotte and Juliet, I just don't like them paired together (too many t and l sounds). It matches Vivienne Claire very well (love THAT). BTW, my dd has a friend named Charlotte and her family calls her Latte which I think is quirky and sweet.ETA that I only know one Juliet who is a physician. I've never asked her about any R & J teasing but I'd say her name certainly hasn't held her back in any way.

LOVE Lottie :)I think this is such a good nn for Charlotte! Way underused and soo much nicer than Charlie. Only problem is I don't like the flow of Charlotte Juliet - I think the t sounds at the end of each name clash. And no I don't think there will be any R+J jokes - esp if its just a middle name. I don't even think it would be an issue if it were a first name. I also like Nell Juliet and Matilda Juliet - Josephine Juliet doesn't flow as well, but I love the nn Josie.

I think Charlotte nn Lottie is really cute, and I love Juliet too, but Charlotte Juliet doesn't sound too great together. It's too choppy. That aside, it goes well with Vivienne Claire. I don't think Juliet would get Romeon and Juliet jokes, and as a middle name most people will never know it anyway.Nell Juliet - gorgeous, but I think you need a full name for Nell/Nellie. Eleanor Juliet or Penelope Juliet would be really nice.
Josephine Juliet - Love the alliteration!
Matilda Juliet - This is probably my favorite and pick out of these. I think it goes fine with sister's name, and Matilda is very underused. And Tillie is really cute. Some other ideas:
Alexandra Juliet "Allie" (I prefer Alex, but you seem to like more cutesy nicknames)
Amelia Juliet "Millie" or "Mia"
Edith Juliet "Edie"
Emmeline Juliet "Emma"
Evaline Juliet "Evie"
Genevieve Juliet "Genny" or "Evie"

Emmeline is one of my favorite names. Emmeline Juliet is gorgeous. I like the combo Juliet Evangeline (with it reversed sounds better in this case) nn Evie, Angie, Julie.

Charlotte Juliet is very pretty, and fits well with Vivienne Claire.I love the nickname Lottie, but I prefer it spelled Lotte, but that's probably because that's how it's spelled in Phantom of the Opera.

Charlotte Juliet sounds rhymey in a Dr Seuss kind of way. And I really dislike the harlot in Charlotte ... I've known a few Juliets and none of them has ever mentioned Romeo, so that should be OK. Lottie would work well for me as a nn if you love Charlotte.Helen Juliet would also give you the nn Nell, and looks more finished. Also Penelope or Ellen or Eleanor ...
Josephine Juliet? Josie Juliet? Not to my ears. Too many Js, same rhythm. Joanna Juliet would be better.
Matilda Juliet - wow! That is amazing! And Tillie is wonderful as a nn, as is Tilda.

Lottie is definitely my favourite nn for Charlotte. Much prefer it to Charlie / Charley. Charlotte Juliet complements Vivienne Claire beautifully.Lottie is spunky and definitely not grandma-ish! Juliet won't cause any jokes. Middle names tend not to. Josephine Juliet sounds a bit heavy, and I'm not big on the alliteration and Nell is lovely but I'd rather a full name for her. So Matilda Juliet gets my vote, even though I prefer Charlotte Juliet. Charlotte and Vivienne is just wonderful.
