I just found out that a co-worker's eighteen-month-old daughter's name is Macy.

What do you think of this name for a girl?

It's not bad. I wouldn't use it on one of my own kids, but I have a character with the name. It fits her.

Cute but I have a sudden urge to go shopping. It's nms but it's still kinda cute.

It makes me think of Macy Gray and nothing else - not even the department store! Well, I think of the store, but not as immediately as Macy Gray.

It's an ok name. It strikes me as a little flaky, especially when you realize it's also the name of a store, but it is also fun and sporty-sounding.
